A blend of matcha, sandalwood and silk powders to restore lustre to your skin. Use as a gentle face polish prior to leaving on the skin as a brightening and softening masque.
Key Ingredients
Matcha Camellia sinensis
Matcha powder comes from the young leaves of the green tea plant and is known to have anti-aging, anti-oxidant and anti bacterial activity, reducing acne breakouts and increasing skin elasticity. Matcha contains high levels of epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), known to reduce inflammation and even out skin tone. The antioxidants found in matcha powder help to protect the skin from environmental damage. The texture of matcha powder is soft and fine and is ideal for use as a physical exfoliant to remove dead skin cells and promote softer skin and a brighter complexion.
Sandalwood Santalum spicatum
Sandalwood powder has a subtle, sweet, woody aroma and a fine soft texture ideal for use a facial exfoliant to remove dead skin cells, improve circulation and nutrient supply to the skins surface for softer and brighter skin. Sourced from sustainably harvested Australian Sandalwood.
Hydrolysed Silk Protein Sourced from the cocoons of the silk worm Bombyx mori
Helps the skin to retail moisture and remain hydrated for longer periods of time, forming a skin protective film when applied to the skin as a masque. Traditionally used to reduce the appearance of larger pores, promoting clear, soft skin.
Suitable for All skin types.
The Ritual
- Mix one to two teaspoons of matcha masque powder with an equal amount of your favourite hydrosol or water and mix into a paste.
- Apply the paste to your skin, avoiding the eye area, lay back and relax for 10 to 20 minutes.
- Remove with warm water, massaging your skin in a circular motion with your hands or damp face cloth.
- Follow with a spritz of hydrosol toner, massage your skin with a nourishing face oil, and seal in the goodness with your favourite serum.
