Hibiscus flowers make a delightful anti-oxidant rich infusion, with cooling hydrating properties it is a vibrant iced tea in the heat of summer. Hibiscus's burst of colour is due to its high levels of bioflavonoid antioxidants that protect the cardiovascular system.
THE SCIENCE
Hibiscus tea is shown to reduce high blood pressure and LDL cholesterol, reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. Hibiscus tea also supports blood sugar regulation, reducing the risk of insulin resistance and type 2 diabetes.
Directions Infuse 1 teaspoon of your herbal tea in freshly boiled water for 5 minutes or longer. Drink 1 to 3 cups daily.
Ingredients 100% Hibiscus* (Hibiscus sabdariffa/rosa-sinensis). *Organic.
