A beautiful rose hued oil, Rosehips are uniquely high in essential fatty acids vital to the structural and functional integrity of your skin. Rosa rubiginosa oil is particularly high in trans-retinoic acid which is useful in the treatment of dry, damaged, irritated and weathered skin and is a popular ingredient in the treatment of scarring and stretch marks.
Rosehips contains high levels of Beta-carotene, a key nutrient and antioxidant that support the maintenance and repair of healthy skin and help to protect skin from environmental damage such as sun exposure. Rosehip oil has a rich texture that does not absorb quickly and because of the high content of unsaturated fats, roseship oil can oxidise quickly if left on the skin. For this reason we recommend blending with other oils for better absorption.
Suitable for Normal to dry skin
Directions Apply a few drops to clean skin, morning or night as required. May also be blended with another carrier oil and used as nourishing body oil.
